MEng Degree Program in Chemical Engineering

Canadian citizens, permanent residents and international students can apply for full-time MEng studies.  Our research based MASc program requires:

• eight acceptable courses for credit
• attendance of 6 seminars per year (for full-time students)

Detailed Degree Requirements

Canadian citizens and permanent residents can apply for part-time MASc studies. Part-time plans offer flexibility not normally available in graduate study since they permit a student to work toward a graduate degree part-time while employed in the chemical industry.  Part-time arrangements are negotiated privately between a student and his or her industrial employer, with the approval of the student's prospective supervisor and the Faculty of Engineering.

1. Eligibility criteria and minimum admission requirement; if educated outside of Canada, see the minimum admission requirements listed by country.
2. Application requirements
• fill out and print PDF (online) application form
• provide official transcripts of all schools previously attended
• reference letters (Note: 3 letters are required)
• a Statement of Interest, maximum 500 words, to be completed on the supplementary form
• English Language Proficiency
  (Institution Code: 0996; Department Code: 99)
• application fee of $100.00
3. Application deadlines - note applicants are responsible for ensuring that applications are received in a timely manner for processing
