Research Interests:

1. Controlled/living radical polymerization for diblock polymers; ring-opening polymerization of lactones, surface-initiated polymerization from nanomaterial surface; condensation polymerization of polyester; addition polymerization of polyurethane, etc.

2. Polymer self-assembly with desired morphology, such as size-tunable vesicle from pH-sensitive hyperbranched polyester; polymer hollow sphere from complex self-assembly of hyperbranched polyester and polypeptide; multi-responsive nanogel by thermal-induced phase separation strategy, etc.

3. Design and synthesis of functional monomers, and preparation of polymers with stimuli-responsive functions, like pH, temperature, photon and oxidant response.
